Job summary

Genentech in South San Francisco is seeking a Squad Business Partner to design and deliver training for field-based Customer Engagement teams, aligning onboarding, continuous education, and performance enablement with company strategy.

You will lead remote and in-person programs, manage curricula, certify staff, coach field teams, and partner with home office and therapeutic squads. Strong facilitation, analytics, and LMS proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Education, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry with facilitation experience.
• 3+ years leading deliverables across a remote team and coordinating learning projects.
• 5+ years delivering highly technical/scientific data to groups.
• Deep understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM).
• Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills for national meetings and executive audiences.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, LMS, and virtual training platforms.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding & capability building: design and deliver onboarding programs.
• Continuous education: develop modules on product launches and regulatory updates.
• Dynamic facilitation: lead national and regional training events and sessions.
• Certification & governance: develop compliant certification strategies.
• Field coaching: conduct field visits and provide real-time coaching.
• Cross-functional partnership: serve as SME liaison across squads and home office.
• Learning innovation & analytics: leverage AI tools and analytics to measure impact.
