Job summary

AMG Tech Support seeks hands-on I.T. or Telecom technicians to support our national client base. This role goes beyond basic helpdesk work, including OS installs, structured cabling across buildings, and terminating a 66-block.

You will work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate environments, maintaining professionalism with clients and being on-call within your territory. Eligibility includes 1 year of IT/Telecom experience and relevant certifications or 5+ years field

Qualifications

• 1 year of I.T. or Telecom experience or equivalent.
• A+ Certification or Network+ Certification, or 5+ years verifiable field experience in I.T./Telecom.
• Reliable personal vehicle and tool set for basic IT tasks (screwdrivers, cable testers, crimpers).

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, and dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.).
• Work independently across environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate.
• Maintain professionalism with clients.
• Be on call and respond to service requests within your territory.
