Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled, driven technicians to support our growing national client base. This hands-on field role goes beyond a desk job, including OS installs, cabling, and telecom work across multiple site environments.

You will work independently, be on-call within your territory, and receive travel pay with an on-site hourly compensation. The position requires 1 year IT/Telecom experience and relevant certifications or 5+ years field experience.

Qualifications

• PC and printer troubleshooting experience (a strong plus)
• At least 1 year IT/Telecom experience, plus one credential: A+ or Network+, or 5+ years field experience

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, dressing cables)
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.)
• Work independently across environments: retail, medical, restaurant, corporate
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism with clients
• Be on call and ready to respond to service requests within your territory
