Job summary
AMG Tech Support is seeking a hands-on IT/Telecom technician to support our national client base. You may install operating systems, diagnose hardware, and set up software, while also performing structured cabling and telecom tasks across buildings.
You will work independently in diverse environments—from retail to medical facilities—and be on-call to respond to service requests within your territory, maintaining professionalism with clients and keeping a strong focus on safety and quality.
Qualifications
- 1 year of IT or Telecom experience
- Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Must have a standard set of IT tools for basic tasks (e.g., screwdrivers, cable testers, crimpers)
- On-call availability 24/7 is a strong advantage
Responsibilities
- OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup
- Structured cabling (drilling, running, dressing cables)
- Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions)
- Work independently across environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate
- Maintain professionalism with clients
- Be on call and respond to service requests within territory
