Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking hands-on IT/Telecom technicians to support our national client base. The role goes beyond the helpdesk, with OS installs, structured cabling, and telecom punch-downs across commercial sites.

You’ll work independently in retail, medical, restaurant and corporate environments, maintain a high professional standard, and be on-call to respond within your territory. Equipment needs include a personal vehicle, laptop, reliable tools, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 1 year IT or Telecom experience required.
• One of: A+ Certification or Network+ Certification or 5+ years field experience.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.).
• Work independently across environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate.
