AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled I.T. or Telecom technicians to support our national client base in field roles across various environments. The position emphasizes hands-on cabling, OS installs, and telecom work beyond typical helpdesk tasks.

Candidates should have 1+ year experience, a relevant certification, and own tools. Travel within an 80-mile radius is common; on-site hourly pay and 1099 contract terms apply.

Qualifications

• 1 year of I.T. or Telecom experience required.
• One of: A+ Certification or Network+ Certification or 5+ years field experience.
• Reliable personal vehicle with valid driver's license.
• Must have a basic IT toolkit (screwdrivers, testers, crimpers).

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling, drilling, running, and dressing cables.
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions).
• Work independently across diverse environments and be on-call.
• Maintain professionalism with clients and respond to service requests.
