Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled technicians to support our national client base in hands-on IT and telecom tasks beyond the desk. Expect OS installs, cabling, and field tech work across diverse sites, with a strong professional standard.

As a 1099 contractor, you’ll travel to client locations, be on-call for service requests, and be paid hourly on-site. This role offers substantial variety, growth opportunities, and exposure to new technologies.

Qualifications

• PC and printer troubleshooting experience.
• 1 year of I.T. or Telecom experience.
• One of: A+ Certification, Network+ Certification, or 5+ years field experience in I.T./Telecom.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions).
• Work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate environments.
• Be on call and respond to service requests within your territory.
