Job summary

AMG Tech Support is hiring hands-on IT/telecom technicians to support a national client base. The role goes beyond basic helpdesk, with tasks from OS installs to structured cabling and on-site installations across diverse environments.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of IT/telecom experience, tools for field work, and the flexibility to be on-call. On-site travel within the territory is required, with 1099 contractor engagement and travel pay.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of IT or Telecom experience.
• Strong troubleshooting for PCs and printers is a plus.
• A+ or Network+ certification or 5+ years field experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling: drilling, running and dressing cables.
• Telecom work: punch-downs and demarc extensions.
• Work independently across multiple environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate.
• Be on-call and ready to respond to service requests within territory.
