Job summary

AMG Tech Support seeks skilled technicians to support a national client base in field settings. You will install OS, diagnose hardware, set up software, and handle structured cabling across varied sites.

Ideal candidates have 1 year IT/Telecom experience and either A+/Network+ or 5+ years field experience, plus a valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle. On-site travel around the territory is expected.

Qualifications

• 1 year IT or Telecom experience required
• One of the following certifications: A+ or Network+, or 5+ years field experience in IT/Telecom
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license; on-call availability sometimes required

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup
• Structured cabling incl. drilling, running, and dressing cables
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions)
• Work independently across environments: retail, medical, restaurant, corporate
• Maintain professionalism with clients and respond to service requests in your territory
