Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled, driven technicians to support our nationwide client base. This role goes beyond basic helpdesk tasks, including OS installations, structured cabling, and telecom work across diverse environments.

We offer a flexible schedule, on-site pay, and travel pay within an approximate 80-mile radius from home. A valid driver's license, tool kit, and reliable vehicle are required. On-call availability is a strong advantage.

Qualifications

• PC and printer troubleshooting experience (a strong plus)
• At least 1 year of IT or Telecom experience, and one of the following: A+ Certification, Network+ Certification, OR 5+ years verifiable field experience in IT/Telecom

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup
• Structured cabling (including drilling, running, and dressing cables)
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.)
• Work independently across various environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism with clients
• Be on call and ready to respond to service requests within your territory
