Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled IT/Telecom technicians to support our national client base. This role goes beyond basic helpdesk tasks—one day you might install an operating system, the next you’re drilling through walls and running structured cabling across entire buildings, or terminating a 66-block.

You must have reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and a basic toolset; being on-call 24/7 is a strong advantage.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver's license.
• Must have a standard set of tools for basic IT and networking tasks.
• Laptop with Ethernet port and a smartphone with mobile hotspot.
• Being on-call 24/7 is a strong advantage.
• Punctual, courteous, and presentable.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, and dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.).
• Work independently across environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism with clients.
• Be on call and ready to respond to service requests within your territory.

PC/Printer troubleshooting

I.T./Telecom experience (1 year+)

A+ Certification

Network+ Certification

5+ years field exp (I.T./Telecom)
