Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled technicians to support our national client base. This role goes beyond basic helpdesk tasks—you may install OS, run structured cabling, or terminate a 66-block in various facilities.

Requirements include 1 year of IT/Telecom experience and one certification (A+, Network+) or 5+ years in the field. A personal vehicle and 24/7 on-call readiness are strong advantages.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of IT or Telecom experience, and one of the following: A+ Certification, Network+ Certification, or 5+ years verifiable field experience in IT/Telecom.
• Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license are required.
• Must have a standard set of tools for basic IT and networking tasks.
• On-call 24/7 availability is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structure cabling, including drilling, running, and dressing cables.
• Conduct telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.).
• Work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate environments.
• Maintain professionalism with clients and be ready to respond to service requests in your territory.
