Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking hands-on IT/Telecom technicians to support a national client base. This role goes beyond helpdesk, with field installations, structured cabling, and telecom work across diverse sites.

You will work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate settings, maintaining high professionalism and timely responses to service requests. The position offers on-site, 1099 contractor work with travel pay and app-based time tracking, plus opportunities for

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT/telecom work experience required.
• Ability to install OS, diagnose hardware and set up software.
• Strong problem-solving and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling: drilling, running, dressing cables.
• Telecom work: punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.
• Work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate environments.
• Maintain professionalism with clients.
• Be on call and respond to service requests within your territory.
