Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled technicians to support our national client base. This role goes far beyond basic helpdesk tasks, including OS installs, hardware diagnostics, structured cabling, and telecom work across diverse environments.

You must have at least 1 year of IT or Telecom experience, or 5+ years of field experience, and relevant certifications (A+ or Network+). A reliable vehicle and basic tools are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of I.T. or Telecom experience or 5+ years verifiable field experience in I.T./Telecom.
• A+ Certification or Network+ Certification.
• PC and printer troubleshooting experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup
• Structured cabling (including drilling, running, and dressing cables)
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.)
• Work independently across various environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism with clients
• Be on call and ready to respond to service requests within your territory
