Job summary

AMG Tech Support seeks skilled I.T. or Telecom technicians to support our national client base with hands-on service beyond the desk.

You may install operating systems, perform hardware diagnostics, and set up software, while also running structured cabling and telecom tasks across various environments. Applicants should have 1+ year IT/Telecom experience; candidates with A+/Network+ or 5+ years field experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• PC and printer troubleshooting experience is a strong plus.
• At least 1 year of IT or Telecom experience, and one of the following: A+ Certification, Network+ Certification, or 5+ years verifiable field experience in IT/Telecom.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, and dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.).
• Work independently across environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism with clients.
• Be on call and ready to respond to service requests within your territory.
