Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking field IT/telecom technicians to support a national client base. You will perform OS installs, hardware diagnostics, structured cabling, and telecom work across diverse sites. You’ll operate independently in retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate environments, maintaining professionalism and responsiveness to service requests within your territory.

The role emphasizes hands-on field work, variety, and opportunities for advancement in a growing nationwide team.

Qualifications

• 1 year of I.T. or Telecom experience with field tasks.
• One of the following: A+ or Network+ certification or 5+ years of verifiable field experience.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling, including drilling, running, and dressing cables.
• Telecom work such as punch-downs and demarc extensions.
• Work independently across environments: retail, medical, restaurant and corporate.
• Maintain professionalism with clients; be on call within territory.
