Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking hands-on I.T. and Telecom technicians to support our national client base with field deployments and on-site service. Tasks include OS installations, hardware diagnostics, structured cabling, and telecom work across diverse environments.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of IT/telecom experience, valid driver's license, a basic toolset, and are comfortable being on-call within their territory. Travel pay and 1099 contractor status are offered.

Qualifications

• PC and printer troubleshooting experience is preferred.
• At least 1 year of IT/Telecom experience.
• One of the following certifications: A+ or Network+, or 5+ years field experience in IT/Telecom.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions).
• Work independently across environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate.
• Maintain professionalism with clients.
• Be on call and respond to service requests within your territory.
