Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking a hands-on I.T. or Telecom technician to support our national client base. This role involves OS installations, hardware diagnostics, software setup, and extensive cabling tasks across diverse sites.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in IT/Telecom and may hold A+, Network+ or equivalent field experience. A reliable vehicle, valid license, and basic toolset are required, with on-call availability in the assigned territory.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing PCs and printers is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year in I.T. or Telecom; choose one: A+ Certification, Network+ Certification, or 5+ years field experience.
• Must have a reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver's license.
• Must have a basic toolset for I.T./network tasks and a laptop with Ethernet.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling, including drilling and dressing cables.
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions).
• Work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate sites.
• Maintain professionalism with clients and be on-call within territory.
