Job summary

AMG Tech Support seeks skilled IT/Telecom technicians to support our national client base. You’ll perform OS installs, hardware diagnostics, cabling, and telecom tasks across diverse environments.

The role requires 1 year IT/Telecom experience (or 5+ years field work), a valid license, reliable vehicle, and on-call availability. On-site pay, 1099 contractor status, and travel pay within ~80 miles are offered.

Qualifications

• 1 year IT/Telecom experience required or 5+ years field experience.
• On-call 24/7 availability for service requests.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
• Standard IT tools and basic networking knowledge.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions).
• Work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate sites.
• Maintain professionalism with clients and respond promptly within territory.
