Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled field technicians to support our national client base. This role goes beyond basic helpdesk, involving OS installs, cabling, and telecom tasks in various environments.

As a 1099 contractor, you work on-site, travel within an 80-mile radius, get paid hourly, and track time via our app. You must be hands-on, reliable, and able to respond to service requests across the territory.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more of IT or Telecom experience.
• PC and printer troubleshooting skills are a plus.
• Certification in A+ or Network+ or 5+ years field experience.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling, drilling, running, and dressing cables.
• Telecom work such as punch-downs and demarc extensions.
• Work independently across environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate.
• Maintain professionalism with clients and be on-call within territory.
