Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking hands-on I.T./Telecom technicians to support our growing national client base. This field role goes beyond desk work, involving OS installs, structured cabling, and telecom tasks across diverse sites.

Ideal candidates thrive in the field, handle varied assignments, and are prepared to respond to service requests within their territory. A driver’s license and own tools are required.

Qualifications

• PC and printer troubleshooting experience.
• Minimum 1 year of I.T./Telecom experience.
• One of the following: A+ Certification, Network+ Certification, or 5+ years field experience in I.T./Telecom.

Responsibilities

• Perform OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structure cabling including drilling, running, and dressing cables.
• Telecom work such as punch-downs and demarc extensions.
• Work independently across environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism with clients.
• Be on call and ready to respond to service requests within your territory.
