Qualifications

• Prior IT support, MSP, help desk or field technician experience.
• Strong Windows and Microsoft 365 troubleshooting skills.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs and networking.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems logically rather than just following a script.
• Comfortable working directly with business owners and end users.
• Professional communication and customer-service skills.
• Organized and able to document work clearly.
• Ability to work independently as well as with a technical team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for visiting client locations.

Responsibilities

• Providing remote and onsite technical support to business clients.
• Troubleshooting Windows desktops and laptops.
• Supporting Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and related applications.
• Setting up and troubleshooting user accounts, computers, printers and peripherals.
• Troubleshooting wired and wireless networks.
• Installing and supporting switches, firewalls and Wi‑Fi access points.
• Working with Microsoft Entra ID/Active Directory and user permissions.
• Diagnosing Internet, DNS, DHCP and general connectivity problems.
• Assisting with Microsoft 365 migrations and workstation deployments.
• Working with network security and endpoint protection products.
• Installing and replacing technology equipment at client locations.
• Documenting work, updating tickets and recording time accurately.
• Communicating directly with clients and following issues through to resolution.
