Job summary

Areas USA is seeking an on-site IT support professional to cover a regional portfolio including airports, turnpike plazas and offices. The role focuses on hands-on hardware, POS and kiosk systems, network equipment and back-office devices, with frequent travel.

You will handle escalations, work with operations leadership to ensure reliable service, and document processes to speed future resolutions. The job requires seven-day operations experience and airport badge eligibility.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of hands-on information technology support across multiple sites.
• POS hardware and peripherals installation, troubleshooting, replacement and testing.
• Working network knowledge including switching, wireless, cabling, circuits.
• End-user device support (Windows, imaging, mobile devices, peripherals).
• Experience with ticketing and service-management tools; measured on response/resolution.
• Ability to communicate clearly with operators and management; operate seven days a week.
• Must obtain airport security badging; valid driver’s license and passport or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support across the assigned region for POS/kiosk hardware, network equipment, back-office computers, printers and peripherals.
• Take escalations from the service desk and diagnose on-site until issues are resolved.
• Build strong relationships with operations leadership and unit management in the region.
• Navigate IT domains (Guest Tech, IT Business Enablement, Infrastructure) and ensure follow-through at the location.
• Support openings, remodels, equipment refreshes and rollouts in the region with site readiness and testing.
• Maintain asset records, spares, swaps and inventory alignment; document work for future use.
• Contribute to runbooks and knowledge articles to reduce recurring issues.
• Coordinate on-site vendor work and verify completion; travel as needed.
