Job summary

Atlantic Tomorrow's Office in New York/ Bronx NY seeks an Onsite Support Technician to deliver hands-on IT support at the client's main location in the Bronx and nearby sites. Responsibilities include workstation builds, server/network installations, VPN setup, software deployment, and disaster recovery testing.

You will troubleshoot PCs, network connectivity, AD and Exchange basics, and document the client environment.

Qualifications

• 2 year degree preferred in Computer & Information Science/IS, or closely related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an onsite or field service technician.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to tailor communication to end-user."s level.
• Able to work independently to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT support at client locations in Bronx and surrounding boroughs.
• Perform workstation builds, server and network equipment installations.
• Install and upgrade software; troubleshoot PC connectivity and network issues.
• Support VPN implementation and remote access; document client environment.
• Escalate issues when needed and communicate progress to clients.
• Maintain and track assets; ensure cleanliness and organization of IT rooms.
