Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Service & Delivery Technician III to support Safeway stores in the Southern Arizona area, including Tucson and nearby locations. You will repair and deploy hardware such as POS devices, printers, iPads, and checkout equipment, while addressing IT issues on-site or remotely.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills, plus experience with Windows, MS Office, and mobile devices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher; AA/AS/BA/BS preferred or 3+ years of technical training/hardware certifications.
• 5+ years’ technical systems experience; 2+ years in technical support.
• 2+ years of retail business experience preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience with store systems, technology hardware, desktop peripherals.
• Experience installing/configuring desktop and peripheral tech.
• Strong verbal/written communication and problem-solving in high-pressure remote locations.
• Knowledge of IT hardware, Windows, MS Office; iOS/Android proficiency.
• Self-checkout experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support standard hardware platforms and systems in Safeway/Albertsons stores and district offices.
• Repair approved hardware including PC/server hardware, network gear, printers, iPads and POS equipment.
• Provide network and remote connectivity support.
• Install new hardware and software.
• Provide IT support to customers; meet SLA targets.
• Coordinate with Corporate IT groups for on-site and remote resolutions.
• Adhere to repair standards and service levels.
