Job summary

Albertsons Companies in Itasca, Illinois is seeking a Service and Delivery Technician III to support Jewel-Osco stores across Chicagoland, IA and IN. You will install and configure hardware/software, service POS systems, printers, scales, and network servers while providing exceptional IT support to store personnel.

The role requires travel, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

Excellent telephone, customer service and problem-solving skills with the ability to gather important information to resolve high pressure issues/situations (for remote locations).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively present technical information and tailor responses for customer understanding.
Working knowledge of IT hardware, installation models and Windows, MS Office, and related applications.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and be a strong collaborative partner in a matrixed organization.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, day, evening and overnight, as well as on-call support capacity.
Strong sense of urgency, business ethics, dependability and follow through.

Responsibilities

Provide IT Support to Jewel-Osco stores in Chicagoland, IA and IN areas, deploying equipment and installing hardware/software.
Troubleshoot and repair IT hardware including computers, printers, POS systems, scales, and network servers.
Maintain inventory controls and coordinate with Support Center and Corporate IT groups.
Travel up to 25% to multiple stores, ensuring on-site support and customer satisfaction.
