Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Service and Delivery Technician III to provide IT support for Safeway stores in Santa Cruz, CA and surrounding areas. You will deploy hardware, install software, and support PCs, printers, POS, scales, and network servers, with travel to King City, Morgan Hill, Hollister, Salinas, Carmel, Monterey, and San Jose.

The role requires troubleshooting, on-site hardware configuration, and collaboration with Corporate IT and store directors to keep our retail operations

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; BA/BS preferred or technical certifications.
• Experience with IT hardware/software in retail environments is preferred.
• Comfortable working independently and in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support at Safeway stores in Santa Cruz and surrounding area.
• Deploy equipment and install new hardware and software.
• Support PCs, printers, POS systems, scales, and network servers.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and perform break/fix repairs.
• Collaborate with Corporate IT and store directors to resolve issues.
• Travel up to 25% to nearby stores (King City, Morgan Hill, Hollister, Salinas, Carmel, Monterey, San Jose).
• Adhere to repair standards and service levels; drive as needed.
