Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Service and Delivery Technician III to provide IT support for Jewel-Osco stores in Chicagoland, IA and IN. The role involves deploying equipment, installing hardware and software, and supporting PCs, printers, POS, scales, and network servers.

The position is based in Itasca, IL, with daily travel to stores across the Chicagoland area and beyond; expect to work on varied projects and collaborate with Corporate IT to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Customer service and problem-solving skills for high-pressure issues.
• Clear communication and interpersonal skills for explaining technical info.
• Working knowledge of IT hardware, installation models, Windows and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support hardware platforms and systems installed throughout stores.
• Repair PC/Server hardware, network hardware, RF hardware and printers.
• Provide complete recoverability of systems and applications.
• Troubleshoot resolution and install new hardware/software.
• Provide customers with IT support and meet SLA goals.
• Provide network and remote connectivity support.
• Maintain equipment inventory controls and policies.
• Coordinate with Support Center and Corporate IT for resolutions.
• Travel up to 25% to Jewel-Osco stores.
