Job summary
The ProActive Technology Group in Greenvale, NY is seeking a technically skilled Field Technician to support client environments across Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, and Long Island. This role combines onsite and remote troubleshooting, end-user assistance, and hands-on deployments with about 50% travel to client sites.
You will install equipment, configure workstations, manage user onboarding, and assist with network and server tasks while documenting findings in IT Glue and using Halo PSA and
Qualifications
- 2+ years in managed services, field support, or IT support.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Willingness to travel to client sites and provide onsite support.
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite and remote Level 1/2 support for client environments.
- Troubleshoot issues with workstations, printers, and network connectivity.
- Travel to client sites for installations, deployments, and support.
- Assist with workstation setups, onboarding/offboarding, and office IT moves.
- Document findings in IT Glue and track work in Halo PSA and Ninja RMM.
