Job summary

Gildan is seeking an IT Support Technician to deliver customer-focused technical support across six North Carolina manufacturing facilities. The role will be based in Salisbury, Mocksville, or Sanford with regular travel to other sites; facilities operate 24/7 with automated systems.

You will resolve helpdesk tickets, maintain IT hardware/software to standards, manage inventories, and support IT projects. Requires 3+ years in IT, strong English communication, and MS365 proficiency.

Qualifications

• AS or BS degree in Information Technology/Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Up to 50% travel to NC Yarn Spinning facilities; day trips with limited overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support to users across the division, including reviewing and completing helpdesk tickets or redirecting tickets as needed.
• Maintain hardware and software to enterprise standards.
• Maintain hardware inventories and deploy new hardware as needed.
• Support special IT projects or initiatives and assist IT teams on site.
• Liaise with IT vendors and supervise on-site vendor activities.
