Job summary

Delta Community Credit Union is seeking a Field Support Tech to provide on-site and remote IT support across branches and off-site locations in the Atlanta area. You will install, configure, and maintain desktop devices, software, and network peripherals while collaborating with IT teams and external vendors.

The role requires strong problem-solving, customer service, and the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in an IT service role.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Customer-service oriented with ability to explain tech to non-technical users.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience working with external partners and suppliers.
• Basic Network/Server and applications knowledge.
• On-site and remote support 24x7x365 possible.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine on-site technical support at branches and off-site locations.
• Respond to service requests, incidents, and inquiries for computer systems and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and related equipment.
• Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to troubleshoot problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and system updates as required.
• Document service requests, incidents, and configurations.
• Assist with technology projects, migrations, and rollouts.
• Train end users on basic operations and best practices.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends.
• Adhere to IT policies and security protocols.
