Job summary

ER Associates, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Field Support Technician to provide on-site and remote IT support across multiple locations in the Greater Atlanta area.

The role emphasizes strong troubleshooting, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to independently manage requests from diagnosis to resolution. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting multiple branches, coordinating with external vendors, and strong Jamf expertise.

Qualifications

• On-site IT service or technical support experience of 4+ years.
• Experience supporting multiple branches or office locations.
• Experience coordinating with external vendors for technical support.
• Experience supporting Windows and Mac systems in a business environment.
• Working knowledge of SCCM, Jamf, imaging, and software deployment.
• Strong communication, customer service, prioritization, and ticket management skills.
• Ability to lift equipment weighing 50 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Support Windows and macOS systems including desktops, laptops, applications, printers, peripherals, and basic network connectivity.
• Troubleshoot conference room audio/video equipment, telephone systems, and other office technology.
• Support computer imaging, software deployment, and endpoint management using SCCM and Jamf.
• Perform basic server administration, including installing and configuring printers on print servers.
• Manage support requests in Jira with timely updates and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors to resolve issues across multiple locations.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and technology deployments.
• Independently prioritize workload and take ownership of issues through resolution.
• Travel between locations and adapt priorities based on business needs.
