Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited is seeking an Engineer in the Technology function to provide onsite IT support for corporate offices in Miami. You will install, configure and maintain IT hardware including desktops, printers, network devices and AV equipment, and troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues.

The role involves coordinating with remote teams, asset inventory management, and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MAC OS, Android/iOS devices, Office 365 and common enterprise applications.
• Familiarities with Network Troubleshooting (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi).
• Basic understanding of printers and peripheral devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT support for corporate office facilities.
• Install, configure and maintain IT hardware (computers, printers, network devices, AV equipment).
• Troubleshoot network, connectivity and system performance issues including installation, maintenance and service on designated equipment.
• Manage Hardware Asset Inventory and Shipping & tracking the assets.
• Coordinate with remote IT team for escalations and resolution of complex issues.
• Perform system updates, backup and preventive maintenance.
• Document service tickets and update resolutions in the ticketing tool.
• Ensure all work adheres to IT security, safety and customer compliance standards.
• Experience handling hardware devices like desktops, laptops, mobile phones, tablets, printers, MAC books and iOS devices.
• Familiarity with Apple iPad and Android tablets.
• Strong problem solving and structured thinking skills.
• Lead installation activities within the assigned area, ensuring safety and quality measures.
• Physical effort: lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Possess valid driving license and able to drive to fulfill job requirements.
• Able to work flexible hours and be available for emergency responses on short notice.
• Willing to travel to other sites from home base for project purposes.
• Follow safety rules at client site.
• Associates to work from base location 08:00 AM to 06:00 PM EST MON-FRI.
