Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Davie, FL is seeking an Engineer in Technology to support end-user devices and IT infrastructure. You will diagnose and resolve desktop hardware issues, perform IMAC activities for end-user devices, and manage stock and logistics for PCs and peripherals.

The role emphasizes strong knowledge of Windows and macOS, plus experience with service tickets (ServiceNow). You will work on-site with a team, handle VIP requests, and ensure IT policy compliance while

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware.
Hands-on experience with hardware and software.
Knowledge of Windows 10, Windows 7, and Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of macOS.
Application and software installation and troubleshooting.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Hardware, OS, and software knowledge for laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
Working knowledge of printers and scanners.

Responsibilities

Provides second-line investigation and diagnosis.
Resolves and closes incidents and service requests in accordance with help desk procedures and timelines.
Escalates unresolved incidents and service requests within agreed timescales.
Logs relevant incident and service request details.
Communicates with users regarding incident progress.
Ensures tickets are updated until issues are resolved.
Complies with HSE and IT policies.
Liaises with users, IT support groups, and third-party providers.
