Job summary

Amazon is seeking an IT Support Associate II for Ops Tech Solutions (OTS) in Illinois/Markham. You will support the operations team by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting IT equipment across facilities, handling service requests, and helping train new hires.

The role involves multi-building coverage, occasional travel within the region, moving up to 49 lbs, standing for long shifts, and a casual dress code with day-one healthcare and 401(k) benefits.

Qualifications

Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems.
Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service.
Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
1+ years of Windows, Mac or Linux operating systems support experience or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Allocating, maintaining, and troubleshooting IT equipment used in Amazon Operations facilities.
Handling support requests and procedures across the network.
Assisting in training new hires.
Continuous learning of new technologies.
Supporting customers from multiple buildings in the area, as well as remote customers.
Traveling within your local or regional area to support our customers.
