Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Field Support Technician to provide remote and on-site IT support for ANG modernization across CONUS. The role requires more than 50% travel and a Secret clearance.

You will install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain IT systems, working with engineers, cybersecurity, and logistics teams to ensure secure, timely deployments while meeting DoW requirements.

Qualifications

• High School with 9+ years of commensurate experience or equivalent.
• Security clearance: Secret.
• DoD 8140 Level II certifications or equivalent.
• Experience with enterprise hardware platforms and networking technologies.
• Ability to interpret engineering docs, drawings, and installation procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Ability to travel 50%+ for nationwide deployments.

Responsibilities

• Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment at customer sites.
• Performs maintenance and technical support on systems and subsystems.
• Troubleshoots malfunctions and minimizes downtime.
• Performs system programming and optimization during installation.
• Trains end-users on system operation and basic troubleshooting.
• Travels frequently to customer sites for field technician duties.
• Reviews configurations to ensure successful service deployment.
