Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking a field service technician to install and support IT hardware across multiple store locations. You will travel daily, imaging devices, configuring PCs, printers, networking gear, and cabling while maintaining strong customer service.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of IT or hardware support experience, a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Flexibility for nights and weekends is required.

• 2–5 years of IT or hardware support experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to travel daily between multiple locations.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays if needed.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Travel to multiple store locations to perform IT hardware installation and support tasks.
• Install, configure, and maintain PCs, printers, networking equipment, and cabling.
• Execute device imaging and basic system configuration activities.
• On-site troubleshooting of hardware and basic connectivity issues.
• Complete documentation and service reports accurately.
• Participate in on-call support after hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain professional customer service across sites.
• Ensure timely completion of tasks within scheduled hours.
