Job summary

TKC Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Field Support Technician to travel to customer locations within the service area and repair proprietary equipment, including networking components, kiosks, staff and inmate equipment, and vending machines.

The role involves coordinating with the Service Desk for incident handling and remote support as needed. The position requires an Associate's degree or equivalent, strong diagnostic skills across IT networking hardware, and the ability to work with travel and

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent education.
• Ability to read and interpret general business material.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
• Strong communication with managers, clients, and customers.
• Solid math reasoning and geometry basics.
• Apply fractions, percentages, ratios in practical tasks.
• Problem solving with varied variables and limited standardization.
• Interpret different instructions from written or oral formats.
• Must have T-1 and analog circuit repair knowledge.
• Excellent knowledge of multiple network disciplines and diagnostics.
• Able to travel within the assigned territory.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Strong team-oriented approach and professional customer demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with customers, Service Desk, regional staff, and peers.
• Diagnose, test, repair and replace kiosks, PCs, vending machines, and networking gear.
• Collaborate on preventative maintenance and walkthroughs with the Service Desk.
• Travel by company car to customer locations within the service area.
• Update Work Order with travel time, notes, and resolution.
• Be willing to learn new equipment and evolving product offerings.
• Travel to Saint Louis for hands-on training with equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
