Job summary

The Home Depot Area Installation Specialist (AIS) supports the customer experience throughout the install life cycle, performing technical measures, assessing conditions, and conducting Job Site Inspections to ensure THD standards are met.

You will coordinate with service providers, resolve issues to prevent delays, and help close open items to the customer's satisfaction. This field role involves up to 10% travel and requires strong communication and problem‑solving skills.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Must pass pre-employment test if applicable
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a field related to the job is typically required.

Responsibilities

• 25% Customer Experience - Initiates and maintains regular communication with customers across the install life-cycle; resolves open questions or job changes; manages open services to resolution.
• 60% Job Process Management - Manages all jobs in assigned area and product category; conducts JSIs, badge checks, inspects work to ensure standards; documents scope changes and ensures timely closure of open services.
• 15% Operations - Assists in handling customer inquiries, resolves jobs-on-hold, and uses reporting systems to support accurate install life-cycle timelines.
