Job summary

Johnson Controls Inc. seeks skilled HVAC Technicians to support our North America HVAC business. You will service commercial and ducted systems, chillers, AHUs, and rooftop units, with factory STA training, safety focus, and opportunities to advance.

Travel 10–20% is expected to support startup, commissioning and aftermarket service activities. A valid EPA refrigerant license and driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of practical working experience on commercial and/or ducted products, AHUs or Roof Top ducted units.
• Able to repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, screw chillers system components.
• Universal EPA refrigerants license and valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel 10% to 20% to support startup, commissioning and service activities.
• Strong troubleshooting and safety focus, with ability to communicate clearly with customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide service to customers for commissioning and aftermarket support of HVAC systems.
• Provide quotes to customers and assist with sales quoting as needed.
• Maintain high service standards, upsell opportunities, and customer satisfaction.
• Attend training programs and JCI STA to gain product knowledge.
• Collaborate with local market mechanics and ensure safety best practices.
