Job summary

Johnson Controls Inc. is seeking experienced HVAC Technicians to support the fast-growing North America HVAC business. You will work on air-cooled and water-cooled chillers, AHUs, and large roof top units, learning throughSTA and delivering service to the highest standards.

Travel up to 20% may be required to support startup, commissioning and aftermarket service. A strong background in ammonia/hydrocarbon safety and chiller systems is essential for this role within our Branch network.

Qualifications

• Minimum of twelve (12) years of practical experience on air or water-cooled chillers and large HVAC units.
• Experience with centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, ammonia/hydrocarbon systems.
• Ammonia/hydrocarbon safety training is required.
• Proven ability to repair complex HVAC equipment and perform retrofits.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site service and resolve facility inefficiencies for customers.
• Lead startup, commissioning, and aftermarket service activities.
• Prepare quotes to support recommendations and upsell services.
• Maintain safety training and adherence to corporate standards.
