Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking skilled HVAC Technicians to support the fast-growing North America HVAC business. You will work on residential/ducted systems, air-cooled and water-cooled chillers, AHUs or RTU units, with factory STA certification and safety-focused culture.

This bargaining unit position includes tools, uniforms, and a company vehicle. You will travel 10–20% to service branches and customers, aiming to optimize facility performance and deliver quotes for improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of practical working experience on Residential and/or ducted products, air cooled and/or water-cooled chillers, AHU's or Roof Top ducted units with strong HVAC/ mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• EPA refrigerants license and a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel 10%–20% to support branch customers' startup and commissioning activities and aftermarket service trouble-shooting.
• Able to pass a knowledge examination to assess proficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of service to solve facility inefficiencies and resolve service-related items.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers and provide solutions at commissioning and aftermarket service.
• Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions to keep facilities running efficiently, including upsell opportunities.
• Collaborate with local market mechanics to deliver safe, reliable HVAC service.
