Job summary

Johnson Controls Inc. is seeking skilled HVAC Technicians with experience in commercial/ducted systems, chillers, AHUs, and rooftop units. The role includes startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and aftermarket service with a focus on customer solutions and quotes.

We provide factory certification through our STA, tools, uniforms, and a company vehicle. Travel up to 20% may be required to support branch customers and ongoing service activities. Union affiliation and licensing are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of practical working experience on commercial and/or ducted products, air cooled and/or water-cooled chillers, AHU’s or Roof Top ducted units with strong HVAC/ mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Universal EPA refrigerants license, applicable state or local licensing, and valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel 10% to 20% to support Branch Customers startup and commissioning activities as well as aftermarket service troubleshooting.
• You will be required to pass a knowledge examination to assess proficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve facility inefficiencies and resolve service items.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers and provide solutions at the time of commissioning and aftermarket service.
• Provide quotes to customers and participate in JCI’s Service Plus Rewards program.
