Job summary

Optimized Process Designs (OPD), a Koch Engineered Solutions company, seeks a Field HR Generalist to support field construction operations across west Texas and southeastern New Mexico. The role partners with Construction Managers and site leaders to strengthen workforce readiness and employee relations in a project-driven EPC environment.

The ideal candidate will maintain a regular field presence, align HR actions with project mobilization and demobilization, and travel among sites as needed.

Qualifications

• HR Generalist or similar role supporting an operational or field-based workforce.
• Experience coaching managers or frontline supervisors.
• Independently handle employee relations matters and investigations with support from leveraged capability SME's.
• Willingness to work in the field and travel among project sites.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Construction Managers, field leadership, and project teams to align workforce decisions with safety, quality and schedule.
• Maintain regular field presence and operating cadence across sites based on project phase and workforce size.
• Coach field leaders to set expectations, provide feedback, address performance and conduct issues.
• Support mobilization, ramp-up, workforce transitions, and demobilization including staffing plans and onboarding readiness.
• Advise on staffing needs, onboarding readiness, talent movement, and retention risks during project mobilization and ramp-up.
• Collaborate with Recruiting, Total Rewards, HR Operations, Legal, and Compliance to deliver field-appropriate HR solutions.
