Job summary

Koch Engineered Solutions (OPD) seeks a Field HR Generalist to support field construction operations across west Texas and southeastern New Mexico. This field-facing role partners with Construction Managers and site leaders to strengthen workforce readiness, supervisor effectiveness, and employee relations in a project-driven EPC environment.

The ideal candidate will maintain a regular field presence, travel among project sites, and help mobilize, ramp up, transition, and demobilize workforces

Qualifications

• HR Generalist supporting operational or field-based workforce.
• Experience coaching frontline supervisors.
• Ability to independently handle employee relations matters with SME support.
• Willingness to work in the field and travel among project sites.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Construction Managers, field leadership, and project teams to align workforce decisions with safety, quality, and schedule outcomes.
• Maintain field presence and operating cadence across sites, adjusting focus by project phase and staffing needs.
• Coach field leaders to set expectations, provide feedback, and address performance issues.
• Support mobilization, ramp-up, transitions, and demobilization including staffing plans and onboarding readiness.
• Advise on workforce considerations during project lifecycle including onboarding, talent movement, and retention risks.
• Collaborate with Recruiting, Total Rewards, HR Operations, Legal, and Compliance for field-appropriate solutions.
• Differentiate HR-judgment work from field-lead responsibilities to build supervisor capability.
• Share workforce insights across projects to improve mobilization and talent pipelines.
