Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Health Informatics Manager for a field-based role covering CA, OR, WA, AZ, AK, HI, ID, NV. You will translate health IT insights into practical opportunities, aligning HIT resources with clinical workflows and governance while educating customers on EHR-enabled solutions.

You will partner with health-system stakeholders, support account planning, and ensure compliant implementation decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum 3 years of healthcare or pharmaceutical industry experience.
Minimum 2 years in health informatics or EHR-related roles in a hospital, practice, or patient-care setting.
Experience with inpatient or ambulatory clinical workflows and health IT, including EHR platforms.

Responsibilities

Partner with health-system stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align HIT resources with customer needs and workflows.
Assess workflows, EHR readiness, data insights, and barriers to identify compliant opportunities for patient identification and care delivery improvement.
Educate customers on approved EHR-enabled resources and support their evaluation for potential use.
Contribute HIT expertise to account planning and customer engagement, sharing insights and risks with internal partners.
Serve as a HIT SME across Market Access and other GSK units, coordinating customer support and scalable tools.
Ensure customer ownership of clinical, technical, implementation, privacy, security, and governance decisions within GSK policies.
