Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline seeks a Health Informatics Manager to support Market Access initiatives by aligning HIT resources with customer needs and clinical workflows across U.S. healthcare environments.

You will translate data insights into opportunities to improve patient identification, care coordination, and operational efficiency, while educating customers on approved HIT tools and ensuring governance compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of healthcare or pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Minimum 2 years in health informatics or EHR roles within hospital or patient-care setting.
• Experience with major EHR platforms (Athenahealth, Epic, Oracle/ Cerner, Meditech, OncoEMR, iKnowMed).
• Customer-facing experience assessing needs and collaborating across teams with hands-on EHR knowledge.
• Knowledge of governance, privacy, and compliance in healthcare IT.

Responsibilities

• Partner with health-system stakeholders to align HIT resources with needs and workflows.
• Assess workflows, EHR readiness, data insights to identify compliant opportunities.
• Educate customers on EHR-enabled resources and evaluate for potential use.
• Contribute HIT expertise to account planning and customer engagement.
• Serve as HIT SME across Market Access and other GSK units.
• Ensure customer ownership of governance decisions under GSK policies.
