Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Health Informatics Manager for a field-based role covering CA, OR, WA, AZ, AK, HI, ID, NV. You will partner with health systems to align HIT resources with clinical workflows and technology environments, including EHRs and digital solutions.

You will translate data insights into practical opportunities to improve patient identification, care coordination, and operational efficiency, serving as a resource across Market Access and other GSK units.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum 3 years of healthcare or pharmaceutical industry experience.
Minimum 2 years of health informatics or EHR roles in hospital, physician practice, or other patient-care environment.
Experience with inpatient or ambulatory clinical workflows and health information technology including major EHR platforms.
Customer-facing experience assessing needs and collaborating across teams with hands-on knowledge of EHR products and governance.

Responsibilities

Partner with health-system stakeholders and cross-functional GSK teams to align approved HIT resources with customer needs, clinical workflows, and technology environments.
Assess customer workflows, EHR readiness, data insights, and operational barriers to identify compliant opportunities that may improve patient identification, care delivery, coordination, and efficiency.
Educate customers on approved EHR-enabled, digital, patient identification, and measurement resources and support their evaluation for potential use.
Contribute HIT expertise to account planning and customer engagement, sharing relevant insights, risks, opportunities, and health IT trends with internal partners.
Serve as a HIT subject matter resource across Market Access and other GSK business units, coordinating customer support and providing field input on scalable tools and resources.
Ensure customer ownership of clinical, technical, implementation, validation, privacy, security, and governance decisions while working within GSK policies and applicable Legal and Compliance requirements.
