Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Health Informatics Manager for a field-based role covering multiple US states. You will partner with health systems and internal teams to align HIT capabilities with clinical workflows, EHR environments, and patient-care initiatives.

You will translate data insights into practical opportunities to improve patient identification, care coordination, and operational efficiency, while ensuring governance and compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; advanced health informatics degree preferred.
3+ years in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry; 2+ years in health informatics/EHR roles.
Experience with inpatient or ambulatory workflows and major EHR platforms.
Customer-facing experience with EHR products, governance, and data insights.
Epic or major EHR vendor certifications and related credentials.

Responsibilities

Partner with health-system stakeholders to align HIT resources with needs and workflows.
Assess workflows, EHR readiness, data insights, and barriers to improve care delivery.
Educate customers on approved EHR-enabled resources and support evaluation.
Contribute HIT expertise to account planning and customer engagement.
Coordinate field input on scalable tools and ensure governance and compliance.
