Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Health Informatics Manager for a field-based role across multiple U.S. regions. You will partner with health-system stakeholders and GSK teams to align HIT resources with clinical workflows, data insights, and patient care objectives.

You will educate customers on approved EHR-enabled tools and support their evaluation for potential use. You will translate insights into opportunities to improve patient identification, care coordination, and operational efficiency

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree is a minimum requirement.
3+ years healthcare or pharmaceutical industry experience.
2+ years in health informatics or EHR-related roles in care settings.
Experience with major EHR platforms (Epic, Athenahealth, Cerner, etc.).
Customer-facing experience assessing needs across teams; governance awareness.
Epic or other major EHR vendor certification or RHIA/RHIT/CPHIMS is desirable.
Advanced degree in health informatics or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Partner with health-system stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align HIT resources with needs.
Assess workflows, EHR readiness, data insights, and barriers to improve patient care and efficiency.
Educate customers on EHR-enabled, digital, patient identification, and measurement resources.
Contribute HIT expertise to account planning and customer engagement with internal partners.
Coordinate customer support and provide field input on scalable tools and resources.
Ensure governance, privacy, and compliance decisions align with GSK policies.
